The Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau Tourism/Travel Trade department participates in many trade shows, sales missions and education events throughout the year. Mexico Sales Mission 2012
Southern California Marketing Group organized co-op mission to Mexico City , Guadalajara & Leon. Includes appointments to meet one on one with top wholesalers in the Mexico City, Travel Agent breakfast, distribution of product information to travel agents from top feeder markets such as Mexico City, Guadalajara and Bajio areas.
Registration fee includes functins, 5 nights hotel R & T, transportation for sales calls, table top signage and meals in programs

16th Annual Receptive Operator Event
This networking event is an opportunity to thank Southern California
based receptive tour operators for the international leisure and
incentive group business that they bring to Anaheim/Orange County.

Visit USA - Australia/New Zealand
The AOCVCB has registered and prepaid as a Platinum Exhibitor and will have an additional 3 booths as Gold Exhibitors at the Visit USA Expos. The Destination will have a total of 4 minutes presentation time in Australia (5 minutes in New Zealand) and will have trade show table space, participation in the B2B, Media and Networking events hosted by Visit USA and 2 Anaheim Orange County hosted events.

2012 Mexico Annual Mega Fam
We expect about 100 travel professionals from the key feeder cities through out Mexico. Volaris and Aeromexico airlines will be supporting this event and will confirm flights for the agents.
The group will spend 2 nigths in San Diego followed by 2 in Anaheim/Orange County. Mexico continues to be the largest international visitor segment to Southern California and this is a great opportunity for you to showcase your services.

AAA Southwest Road Show
The mission is to visit top travel outlets and the AAA offices in Arizona in a 3-day period. The objective is to use a full sized motor coach as a traveling trade show where the travel professionals will board and visit with each Anaheim/Orange County representative.

Pow wow is the premier international travel tradeshow. The event showcases hundreds of U.S. suppliers that sell to international buyers. Trade event is with scheduled appointments buyer/seller.

Best Day Travel Training
ANAHEIM/Orange County VCB and the San Diego CVB are working together to organize a Southern California Day training at Best Day Travel call center / head office in Cancun. Best Day Travel powers the Volaris website and is the largest OTA in Mexico and also drives business from Latin America (Click Hotels & Hoteldo). Best Day Travel has a Southern California based market manager and is committed in growing the production that comes to our area by working with us and Volaris.

MWR San Diego Metro - ITT Leisure Fair
Event to promote the destination theme parks, hotels, attractions, hotels, theaters, sports teams, concerts, dining and other recreational activities to the enlisted sailors, family members and military retirees. The Leisure Fair runs from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Home & Garden Store at the Naval Exchange Complex at the Naval Base.

AAA Northern California Road Show
We expect to vist several key AAA offices from Valencia to N. California. The Traveling Road show consists of one full size Executive Coach where a maximum of 12 partners will have an area onboard the motorcoach as their Sales Space. As we arrive at each AAA office, agents will board our Coach to gather information and receive updates regarding our destination and individual products.
